Alternative to a mower

The last couple of days we've been electric fencing off areas of  grass around the place to let the horses into and give them some rich grass that needs cutting, so far so good, but we've always got the risk with little Misty that he'll get laminitis again, so having to watch carefully and only let them at it for a couple of hours at a time. They seem to be enjoying it and it's saving us a job, so wins all round - so far.
